According to Curbed LA it is! One thrift store owner says out-of-work writers are coming in to buy cheaper clothing at the same time movie studios are looking to unload old wardrobes. Click here for the article.

    Hi Cheri:
    Wow was I glad to hear about your thift store examples. I have so many stories, Ithought I would only find interesting. I remember the day you and I were in the downtown goodwill store, we found some interesting art, which you bought and took home but I can’t remember what it was, some kind of pottery. Wierd is all that comes to mind. I look around my apt, because it is a very cool thrift store.
    Check it out sometime.
